Great product nicely packaged in a very strong plastic bag which makes it very easy to decant into tubs. The outer cardboard box was a bit crushed on arrival, but the contents were intact. A very popular feed with all my garden visitors from house sparrows to rooks and all sizes in between.

You will always get some powder from this type of product, but Twootz is minimal and I collect and warm it in an old saucepan with a bit of lard, then it sticks into balls which go in to another feeder, so nothing is wasted.

Just as popular as the Berry suet pellets, the mealworm pellets also disappear really quickly after I put them out.

These suet pellets are exceptional value for money; there is no waste & you attract many ground feeding birds into your garden which will also eat garden pests while rummaging around.

Once again, these suet pellets are a big hit with my feathered friends. For some reason, all the blackbirds seem to have flown elsewhere, I hope they haven't succumbed to bird flu but I find that unlikely. There were several adults and the highest number of fledglings that I've ever had in eight years of living here and they also loved Twootz suet pellets, especially the fruit ones

The order in June contained a fair amount of suet ‘dust’ which was wasteful but I’m assuming this was down to the high temperatures during the warehouse storage period.
On a more positive note, the pellets have been a Godsend for parents & fledglings alike. Every morning I have a line-up of 20 to 30 young starlings on my garden fence awaiting breakfast & a veritable swarm of young sparrows which emerge from every orifice around the garden like an explosion!

With frosts continuing into May & colder temperatures this year, foraging has been more difficult this year. For the first time we are getting 2 crows first thing in the morning along with 6 rooks & jackdaws. The heavyweights have made our regular early morning feeders such as blackbirds, robins etc little more guarded.

Order took quite a bit longer to arrive than previous orders but this is understandable given the present supply/delivery issues in the UK at the moment. Emailed customer services who replied quickly explaining the reasons for delay (supply issue) and my order arrived a couple of days later. I have found Twootz to be an excellent company to deal with.

I ordered on 5 Dec but only rec’d my order on 23 Dec, just before Christmas. I was down to one day’s feed left - talk about cutting it fine! However I had cause to worry about whether the order would get here in time & had looked at other on line suppliers, particularly on Amazon. That very quickly reminded me of the fantastic prices for suet pellets at Twootz. You could easily pay four to ten times the price elsewhere!

The pellets were a lifeline for all ground feeders during the many days of lying snow this month. As soon as I scattered the stuff around the garden, hordes of birds flew in from rooftops, trees & hedges. I have gone through my supplies at three times as quickly as normal. But the reward is to see these birds survive that terrible spell.

I have another order in the pipeline but I doubt I’ll see that this year!

Anyway, I’m quite sure all staff have been working flat out to get these orders out the warehouse & I wish them a merry Christmas & happy New Year!

Twootz appears to have cracked the delivery delays - my orders are arriving within just a few days. The quality has improved too as previous orders had a certain amount of crumble.

As for the product itself, I can’t keep up with the demand from the local bird life. The big bonus is no waste at all.

In the coming weeks our feathered friends need all the help they can get to cope with cold wet weather. These mealworm suet pellets fit the bill. I also supply dried mealworms but have to buy them elsewhere as Twootz stopped selling them over a year ago.

Quite slow dispatch time, had to chase but then arrived next day.
Using DHL to deliver now so wonder if that's the difference.
Suet pellets excellent quality as always, just wish they came in stronger bags like peanuts for as very easy to tear accidentally when moving.

Not sure if this the place to comment but ... product as speciified. Delivery was, however, a nightmare. DHL attempted to deliver 6 hrs earlier than the window of opportunity they had given us and chose to return parcel to Twootz despite accessing website and requesting further delivery time(s). Product was re-delivered aft contacting Twootz customer services, who were excellent.

I thought I'd found the same product but cheaper - WRONG! The alternative virtually disintegrated to dust before I'd gotten to the bottom of the box meaning that most of the food ended up in the bin. This product was delivered in good condition, well sealed packs, and promptly and most importantly, the birds love it.

Winter stock up but taking far too long to be despatched now and emails not replied to so management not taking things seriously as quoted.
Am convinced this company has changed hands as something has gone badly wrong.
Points that were issued for photo contributions are no longer given despite saying they would be added.

The quality of the product is good but the packaging this time was not. The suet pellets were not put inside a plastic bag (which is usually the case) and the box had been damaged which meant that some of the pellets had fallen out; we have no idea how many were left in the delivery van. The price which is usually competitive had gone up as well.

First time trying this product, would normally have sunflower seed suet. The birds love this just as much.

For the first time ever my garden is being visited by larger birds for these pellets and for dried mealworms (which I am having to buy elsewhere as you don’t stock them). The daily visit around dawn is by 8 ravens, 6 jackdaws & 6 magpies. I even had a seagull down for some time feeding.

I eventually have to chase them as they make an awful mess & may try to take recent fledglings. But it just shows the difficulty larger birds have in providing for their young.

This is the first time I have used Twootz. I ordered the mealworm suet pellets; and I was not disappointed. Arrived on time by DPD, however the box was sodden, and collapsed. Fortunately the contents were not effected due to being in sealed plastic bags. Pellets were ok, and soon being scoffed by the hungry critters....

I feed the birds every other day and can guarantee the pellets are all gone, brilliant, so they have prooved they are good.

Pellets really good, cheaper than anywhere else. I mix with equal sunflower hearts and wildbird mixed seed, works really well in feeders.

I order these at least monthly. They are easy to spot lying on snow so the birds have been very appreciative in the last few days when the ground has been frozen solid. Times are hard for wildlife over the next 2-3 months & we should do all we can to help them survive. In return you get the pleasure of their company, birdsong, tameness & even amusing antics.

It's a big hit with all the birds, they can't get enough. It's even attracted a pair of jackdaws and a hedgehog to the garden. Though I'm not sure the wood pigeons are impressed they'll peck the squirrel off the table, but not the jackdaws.

The birds just can’t get enough of this stuff. But the real benefit of these pellets is there is no waste & no seed that grows up in the most awkward places.

Of course the downside is these pellets mainly attract ground feeding birds but I reckon there are enough feeders hanging in neighbouring gardens to keep p the rest of bird life contented.

I have also discovered a little furry friend in my garage has been nibbling through the recently delivered boxes of Twootz pellets. Presumably to test quality control before being fed to the garden diners! My humane trap with peanut butter is no deterrent whatsoever!

The mealworm suet pellets arrived on time. As always, they were well packed and of good quality, the birds love them.

Normally one of the favourite items on the bird feeder, this last batch has been very dusty and the birds have been leaving them. Perhaps older stock, or a new recipe, but not up to the usual high standard. Disappointing.

When ever I put more food out for the birds, I am amazed how quickly the birds are there to devour the offerings, ranging from sparrows, robins, bull finches, chaffinches, starlings, blackbirds, wood pigeons, crows and jackdaws. This year the feeding frenzy started late which I put down to the loss of two oak trees, one had rotted through the heart and had a sycamore growing out of the the top of the trunk, the other oak had grown that tall that the Tree Preservation Officer advised that it was taken down at the same time as the roots must have close to undermining the property. Unfortunately this lost a lot of branches for the birds to sit and wait for the feed to be distributed. The neighbours on each side of the property have feeding stations as well.
At the moment I am still waiting for the return of the magpies, thrushes and two pied wagtails. There are several nests around the property and it will be mayhem again with the parents trying to feed the fledglings, last one starling was feeding three fledges.

The starlings especially are loving the mealworm suet pellets. They wait in the fence each morning now for me to fill up the feeders. They have young about to leave the best so this is a three or four time a day task. Hope Twootz has enough supply to cope.

These are also loved by the Starlings and they are also feeding them to their young. The pellets are quite small so are idea for smaller and young birds. It's fascinating watching about 30 Starlings all trying to get to the feeder at the same time and takes only a few minutes for them to empty the feeder.

These never fail to have the birds queuing up to get on the feeder.

Unfortunately the tape on outer cardboard package was split and the plastic bag containing the pellets was also split so a lot of the contents were loose in the box. I have also noticed that there is a lot of suet 'dust' in the packages of late. However, they are still reasonable quality for the price and will continue to buy.

Mealworm suet pellets are very popular indeed. If I’m up early as it’s getting light & put a feed out I get crows, rooks, magpies & jackdaws putting in a nervous appearance for breakfast. Blackbirds are next along with robins, a wren & 30-40 sparrows who spend their day in hedges & shrubs around the garden waiting on the next course!

I come back every two months for these little nuggets of gold. My birds simply can’t get enough of them! They sit in the trees and watch me filling their feeders & dishes & then they flock flown in their dozens. Sadly, they don’t last long as I usually have to refill everything at least three times a day. They’re costly little souls but it’s so worth it to watch them devouring their meals. It’s just a wonderful sight especially when they bring their babies down to feed them literally a few feet from where I sit & watch.

I don't know if the mealworm suet pellets have been changed, but contrary to the other reviews the birds that visit the garden all previously wolfed down the suet mealworm tablets I purchased locally, but are barely touching this stuff. Now wondering what to do with over 20kg of the stuff.

I’m going through these pellets so quickly! Word has spread by tweet of beak that this garden is bird Heaven (apart from a pair of marauding sparrow hawks).

These are very, very popular. My problem is a local “thuggery” of about 50 starlings which descends en masse and just about clears the decks. A pain in the neck but they need fed as much as the next bird. I have 20-30 sparrows who live in the bushes in my garden and in the farm hedging bordering one end of the garden. As soon as they see me they swoop in for a feed!

I have purchased the mealworm suet pellets for a number of years now but with the hot weather it certainly has an effect on them, small and very crumbly.

Having said that, they are good value and it makes no difference to the large group of starlings which arrive each day.

I buy 25kg of suet pellets every month and they get eaten by my birds at a rate of knots! The birds sit waiting for their breakfast every morning, and I have a huge selection of birds to watch and amuse me. Sometimes I think I am being a bit heavy handed with the pellets and then I worry that I am going to run out before the next delivery. I hate having the birds sitting waiting to be fed and I have none left to feed them!
Since I discovered Twootz I have not bought my bird food from anyone else.

I've been feeding my birds with these for almost three years now and they always love it! Initially it was only small birds, but now even Jackdaws try to hang on to the feeder and eat them! Looks like all birds are huge fan of these suets :)

Not sure whether the fat pellets were the mealworm or the insect pellets as I ordered both. Would have liked to have known what was what for knowing the preference for the birds.

I have also told customer service on a previous delivery that I was very unhappy as the packing department left the cellophane bag open and so all the pellets dropped out - only a knot to secure the bag would have sufficed. Customer service said it would be passed onto the packing department but this batch has been received the same way. The packing department is really letting Twootz down as I used to really like them. It is left upside down with the bag open so they all drop out into the box and is now bringing in rats to the house from undiscovered dropped food. What has happened to their secure hexagon bags they used to use which were so much better?

I was really disappointed with these suet pellets, they were extremely dusty and I have had to sieve them to get rid of the dust of which there was a vast amount, easily 25% took some time since I ordered 25kg, won't buy again.

I have gone through these suet pellets so fast it's unbelievable. In addition to the normal garden visitors, I have also been feeding 20-30 sparrow fledglings (which are very tame) and a similar number of fledgling starlings. I also have 3 male blackbirds which seem to know their allotted time to avoid meeting each other!

It is great this supplier is managing to survive and continue supplying its customers during the pandemic. All credit to the staff who turn up day in day out - hopefully not under duress!

Dear team, excellent product as always thank you. However wanted to share feedback on delivery as you are using a new provider and in case others have experienced similar problems. Second time with new company and again damaged boxes or split and broken. Today 2 of 4 cartons damaged with one split on doorstep and another came apart when lifted. Appreciate that boxes are heavy and awkward but never had this problem with Yodel. Last time 2 of 12 boxes were damaged but not so that diet pellets were escaping it left in a pile on the doorstep. Might help if they kept the boxes the right way up. Hope feedback helpful. Fingers crossed for better next time. Take care all and stay safe. Debra

Have just had another delivery of Twootz suet pellets (12.6kg), this time the mealworm variety.

Within seconds of topping up the feeders, sparrows and starlings were all over the feeders munching on the pellets.

They are great value and based on how the birds eat them, birds love the texture of Twootz pellets.

Great quality product, suet pellets are really popular and ensures many different breeds can enjoy something off the table or feeders. Chickens love to mop up anything that falls to the floor. Hedgehogs in particular seem to like them as a treat. Great value for money.

Pellets not as good as normal, very crumbly this time, and plenty of dust from broken pellets. Birds still love them, but hopefully next order will be better.

These suet pellets attract so many birds, its lovely to watch the Robin fly in take one and fly off.
Put feeder up at 93 yr old Mum in Laws and she now has sparrows visiting throughout the day.

Got these for the birds as this time of year they have young to feed and it's an easy way for them to get food. We have a wildlife camera that we put out at night and were surprised to see not only hedgehogs eating the suet that falls from the feeders but also 2 female foxes that make a beeline for the area as soon as the get in the garden. I put a solar spot light facing the lawn and we now spread a handful on the grass every night before it's dark just for them and it's amazing to be able to watch them form the kitchen window. We will now have to reorder more often but it's worth every penny.

Absolutely over the moon with this product. Great value for money and the birds love it. Only downside is they love it too much and I can`t keep pace with refilling the feeders. The hedgehogs also happily munch away at any that may drop on the floor.

In order to keep the bills under control, I now only fill the feeders once a day - it had got to the point where they would get through 5 - 6 feeders full of the pellets in a day, along with the other food that is put out for them.

The only downside is that Twootz don't sell a mix of flavours. I need to have a spare box so that I can mix half of each box into this before mixing the final two halves in the other. It's easier to store, and dish out food from one box at a time - maybe a thought for the future?

The birds are all coming back now the year's coming to an end, with the robins defending their territories and of course the food source they've come to enjoy so much over previous years. Can't give a better recommendation than that.

These suet pellets are loved by all the birds in my garden. The birds are fussy here in this area, obviously plenty neighbours are feeding the birds.

I have found the most irresistible and affordable way to attract all types of birds, from baby sparrows to the less welcome but still pretty, pigeons.

These are easy to store in the plastic bag in the box, although I do decant smaller amounts into manageable tubs for the kitchen.

This order arrived quickly, well packaged which the critters appreciated.

Whilst 3 out the 4 boxes were Twootz normal top quality, 1 box had the mealworm suet pellets stuck together in a big clump.
This clump broke up ok but resullted in a lot a powder.
In my 3 years with Twootz this the first time that I have had, a less than perfect supply.

I mix these with the nutty,berry and insect pellets and they all get eaten every day.

Used Twootz many times and most times goods delivered in a timely fashion, well packaged and birds love it.

I'm putting "good" because of the price but I am disappointed because for some reason this last batch of mealworm suet pellets is turning to powder very quickly.

Also, on this occasion the parcel was left outside, the driver did not knock or ring the bell (I was at home all day). It was some time before I went outside and found it and had to carry it inside the house myself despite having a bad back because I was on my own at the time.

These are always the same excellent quality and great value for money.....as always the birds just can't get enough of them. Great service too!

Mealworm suet pellets are a good food for the many varieties of visitors who land in my garden daily. Even the seagulls are coming down to feed on them and they don't last very long before having to re-order. Fortunately for me the prices are so competitive, so thank you Twootz.

My garden visitors just can't get enough of any of the variety suet pellets from Twootz. I refill the trays and hangers at least twice a day during this cold weather. I haven't bought these for a while and I had forgotten how popular they are, especially with the greedy Starlings which can get through the pellets I have put out in a matter of minutes. If I were to keep them fully stocked each time they eat them all, I'm sure they wouldn't be able to get off the ground! On the other hand, any the Starlings miss are soon grabbed by the other birds.

The birds demolish these suet pellets in no time so I guess that's a thumbs up from them. From my perspective most of the pellets are nice and long, which means they don't drop out of the feeder quite so easily. The starlings try to hog the feeders most of the time, but the sparrows, various tits and robins do get a look in.
I discovered recently that I have some nighttime visitors as well - a family of rats (I think) have been seen swinging on the feeders!

All I can say is that these are a real bargain price and the birds seem to love them. I put lots out on the bird table last thing at night and as soon as it's light early in the morning the birds eat the lot. The larger birds are taking beaks full so I guess there is going to be some fat well fed fledglings about!!

The product and price is average. However the dispatch times are appalling. The first time, Twootz took just over 2 weeks to dispatch. I had to chase them up to get it dispatched. The second time was about 8 days, but this time it's been 10 days since I ordered and paid, and nothing. They have not even dispatched the item. Should have the service, to inform you that they are delays in dispatch, or don't allow ordering if they can't dispatch within their stated times of 3 to 5 days. I think that this is the third and last time that I will use them, as their service is appalling. One other point, they use Yodel to deliver, who are no the best couriers. Last time, it was dumped outside my front door, the box had split, and some contents were lost. I was in, but Yodel did not ring my door bell, to let me know that they had delivered. Probably because of the damaged box. The packing of such a heavy item, 25kg, was not adequately packed. Again this is the fault of this company Twootz. In all, I am not happy with this Company's service.

We have had some winter weather since the turn of the year with plenty snow and high winds. Our local bird population (particularly the starlings) seem to lurk in hedgerows and trees awaiting the opening of the back door which signals the imminent distribution of suet pellets. Starlings permitting, these are snapped up by sparrows, blackbirds, wrens and occasionally collared doves and various types of crow. I don’t know any birds that do not like these. The trouble is, they don’t appear to be foraging for themselves. They’ve either twigged I provide enough for their daily intake or they have eaten so much they are incapable of flight!!

These are so adaptable. sprinkle...or mix in feeders...the birds love you for putting them out...and if you love birds you will be rewarded for their presence.

I have used Twootz for over a year now and find the Suet Pellets with mealworms good quality and generally well packed.

As usual, by ordering via the web site, everything was dealt with quickly and received in no time. The birds, especially the starlings seem to hoover them up as if there's no tomorrow and the fledgeling even bully the adults to ensure they can gorge themselves. This year, I have had at least 30 offspring from, I think, just two pairs. At this rate I will have to order by the truck load in order to satisfy all their needs. They also love the peanut butter which is bought by the 15kg boxful and dried mealworms are possibly their favourite. They went through a large 5kg bagful in less than a week!

It took the birds about 24 hours to get used to these suet pellets but then they were gone. Now as soon as I put them out they're surrounded and are loved by all the birds.the one drawback is that pigeons also love them and if they get to the pellets there is nothing left for the smaller birds

So versatile in feeders, mixed with other foods on a bird table...or sprinkle around places in your garden. use sparingly...as this helps small birds to find them.

The song thrush has definitely developed a taste for these and the blackbird is determined not to let him have a look in. It's been a great source of amusement watching the two playing cat and mouse whilst the Thrush gets stuck in.

I ordered another box of mealworm suet pellets which my mini flock of starlings are loving. I try and feed them as early in the morning as I can. I have been known to go out in my dressing gown in the snow so that my feathered friends have an early breakfast. They also get lunch as well. I don't know why some people don't like starlings, I love them and look foreward to Spring and seeing the first babies arrive.

Great product, can't keep up with the birds eating them. I know others have had issues with the packaging but it's always been fine for me. I dispense the pellets into a storage container.

Reading other reviews I know some people had a issue with the packaging, but I didn't have any problems. The pellets are smaller than some I have bought from other retailers but they can be fed in a mesh peanut feeder ok. Any pieces that do fall out are soon eaten by ground feeding birds. Once I had put the feeder out I had birds on it within minutes. I emptied the pellets into plastic tubs for storage and there was hardly any powder at the bottom of the bag. Will definitely buy again.

Product itself is excellent. Problem was the packaging. Received 2 boxes taped together, no 'This way up' on boxes I opened the first box of suet pellets and when I tried to lift the bag inside it was upside down so consequently the contents spilled out into the box.

On a daily basis, these mealworm suet pellets are gobbled up by Robins, Blue Tits, Blackbirds, Starlings, House Sparrows, Collared Doves and Wood Pigeons. I would highly recommend them if you want to attract a lot of birds to your garden.

The starlings demolish the mealworms first with a lot of birds not getting a look in if you're not careful. The blackbirds we have noticed are popping back and forth to pick up mouthfuls of the suet pellets with mealworms of late, possibly a growing on food for their young?
We regularly watch the starlings feeding their youngsters who sit lined up on the wall, and who will drop onto the food, but still expect mum and dad to hand feed them! They're getting the idea now though. I was only last week I was actually able to spot a blackbird doing the same to her youngster, we've never seen the blackbirds with their fledglings before, and it was straight to the mealworm suet pellets for them.

Absolutely brilliant and fantastic value. Until the last year or so I had not seen a starling in my garden for over 25 years. I started putting out twootz suet pellets daily in many feeders throughout my garden and at the last count I had over 40 starlings feeding in my garden at one time. They cannot get enough of them and I now have several families of starlings constantly chattering in my trees. I am working on my own 'murmur'!! I am delighted - thank you!

These are real favourites with the starlings and blue tits in my garden. I fill two feeders every day with them and they are always empty within about an hour.

Like some other reviewers I was sceptical about these, how wrong I was, the birds all love them including the woodpecker, blue tits, long tailed tits and I've even seen a robin try and get them (although he has to try several times!). I was so impressed with them that I've just brought another 12.5kg bag. I have 5 feeders up outside my house and the sunflower hearts and the suet pellets are emptied the first. So they are obviously a hit with the birds

As with the fruity suet pellets my birds eat them really quickly so would recommend these to any garden bird lovers.

I buy these suet pellets on a regular basis - they form a key part of my garden birds' diet. The birds sit tweeting loudly in the trees and bushes when I go out everyday to refill their feeders. I've hardly left the garden before they're down and guzzling up the food. I cannot recommend these pellets highly enough.

It's great to be able to have this product delivered as it is very heavy. The promotions can also be good but don't always suit my needs. I have rated my order as 'good' however, this is only because in some of my orders the pellets themselves are very long and the younger birds can't break them up. In my previous orders the pellets come in a range of sizes, and I much prefer the smaller size for the birds - perhaps this is something quality control could look at. That said I'm hoping my next review will be rated as excellent. I would definitely encourage any bird lovers to purchase from Twootz !

These are the best quality suet pellets I have found, and they are very economical when bought in bulk. And indeed I need to buy them in bulk because the birds can't get enough of them! They hoover them up as soon as I put them out.

We have used these throughout the winter and spring, the Starlings, blue tits, great tits, Long tails tits, Wood peckers and Robin all take to them very quickly.
We have had a steady stream of birds all winter.

Cheapest price around and pellets are of very good quality,with very little crushed-up suet.

The mealworm pellets are of consistently good quality, and are a favourite with the sparrows and blackbirds.
The price is extremely competitive, and being able to track the delivery online is great.

The product itself is excellent.
However the packaging leaves much to be desired. As the Yodel delivery man deposited a very large & heavy box onto my carpeted hallway floor a large quantity of red berry suet pellets spilled out.

On opening the box I found that there was not plastic liner as stated. All the pellets were just loose. I then had to decant them into containers (which I had luckily) before realising that another box had been taped to the first box. The second contained the mealworm suet pellets again with no lining.

Twootz states that there should be a lining to prevent the fat content from seeping into the cardboard and also to ensure the pellets are contained. This is not the case.

Customers please ensure you have plenty of containers to scoop the loose pellets into and to ensure you do not have them all over the floor as I did!

Very poor packaging, the fat pellets were loose in cardboard boxes (usually with previous orders they have been in plastic bags inside the boxes) with the boxes not fully sealed around the edges. Consequently they were leaking in the delivery van and left a trail when unloaded.
If this is the new packaging policy I do not wish to purchase any further as it is too messy and wasteful.

I was a little unsure what the quality would be like due to the very cheap price. Do not worry the quality is suburb and the birds love these pellets, the only problem is they love them too much and you find yourself refilling your feeders upto 3 times a day. Well recommended.

These have proved to be very popular with the customers at my bird restaurant, especially the starlings! I serve them in a peanut feeder and on the bird table mixed with seeds and sultanas. Time to stock up for winter, as suet is a high energy food.
